We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Research Analyst to join our Neuberger Berman’s Investment Grade Global Credit Research platform. Our goal is to further deepen our research resources and position our team to build upon our long-term track record of performance. The successful candidate will join a large team of Research Analysts, Traders and Portfolio Managers responsible for managing approximately $40 billion of client assets across various corporate debt strategies.


  • Assist credit research team with industry and issuer analysis across a number of sectors, consisting of:

  • Performing in-depth industry analysis.

  • Building and maintaining financial models and the research database.

  • Assisting in ESG analysis as an integrated part of the research process.

  • Develop comprehensive industry frameworks and credit reviews for periodic presentations to Portfolio Management.

  • Monitoring newswires and other data sources for information relevant to investment positions.

  • Collaborate with Research and Portfolio Management to analyze macro factors and broad market dynamics that have implications for investment strategy.

  • Evaluate and integrate issuer fundamentals and industry trends into actionable investment recommendations.

  • Longer term, skill development and performance would result in industry coverage as lead analyst.


  • 0-2 years financial analysis and/or investment market experience.

  • Candidate must be hard working, self-motivated and analytically focused with an ability to multitask across various assignments and special projects when necessary.

  • Formal credit training program and/or exposure to the fixed income markets preferred but not required.

  • Experience or demonstrated interest investing and markets.

  • Quantitative and qualitative skills sufficient to evaluate company-specific and industry level data, and synthesize this information into actionable investment ideas.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a strong academic record.

  • Proficient written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

  • Relationship skills to work successfully within the Investment Grade Credit team and to work cooperatively across the Neuberger Berman organization.

  • Series 7 & 66 within 6 months of joining.
