Armstrong Flooring is looking for a Regional Vice President of Sales to is to lead Residential Strategic Account Managers in the Central United States. The goal is to exceed sales revenue, sales profitability and budgetary objectives. The leadership position involves managing people, sales planning, traveling (50%), and selling to strategic accounts.

Location: Central United States

How you’ll contribute to the team:

  • Supervises, develops, and mentors 8-10 Residential Strategic Accounts Managers

  • Executes our go-to-market strategy to achieve business objectives

  • Guides team in prospecting and the development of revenue generation programs; assists in sales negotiations with key customers

  • Monitors the team's key performance indicators (KPIs); anticipates and reacts quickly to trends and changes in performance

  • Partners with Marketing, Product, Pricing, Customer Service, etc.

Requirements

What you'll bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or MBA with 10+ years of experience in product sales with at least three years of experience in sales management of people

  • Leadership and management skills including the ability to plan, budget, influence, and report performance.

  • Demonstrated ability to show initiative, exceed expectations, collaborate, and achieve results.

  • Technical skills in strategic sales management including:

  • Developing effective business relationships

  • Expertise in sales planning, project management and presentation development

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills

  • Delivering customer presentations, training and development

  • Excellent business acumen – able to gather market competitive intel, translate it into actions, opportunities and forecasting
