Centeva Program Assistant in Chicago, Illinois

**This role currently allows for remote work. However, once normal operations and onsite work for staff resumes, you must be available to work onsite (Chicago, IL).

Job Summary

We’re looking for a skilled Program Assistant to join us in delivering excellent results for our Federal Government clients. You will be essential to the success of this project as you and your team develop new, innovative solutions to complex business challenges. Your problem-solving ability, analytical mind, and drive to exceed expectations will lead you to excel in this role. This position includes help desk support, Excel reporting, and end user support.

Overview

As a member of the Centeva team, you will be responsible for improving the performance and efficiency of business processes within the Federal Acquisition domain by analyzing end-user and stakeholder needs, recommending solutions, and managing the execution of approved initiatives. You will provide training and one-on-one coaching for end-users, improving their processes and assisting in best practices

The Program Assistant will work under the direction of the Program Manager to manage several related projects with the purpose to enhance the performance of the Federal Agency's organization. They will provide administrative support to program managers and project managers for coordination with people in projects; preparing and scheduling meetings; and managing documents and artifacts.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Business Process Analysis and Improvement

  • Lead change management efforts

  • Assess “As Is” and “To Be” processes and documenting gaps

  • Define project scope with client input

  • Understand and create solutions to improve user experience

  • Requirements Management

  • Create requirements that move client to proposed solution

  • Build business models that will guide the architecture of the proposed solution

  • Communicate and interpret business models between the client and development team

  • Stakeholder and Executive Interaction

  • Support organizational Change Management

  • Collaborate to elicit new products and improve existing solutions

  • Program management documentation support

  • Risk and issue management support

  • Issue resolution/help desk support

  • Participation in team and customer meetings

  • Training small and large group

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business or a technical field

  • 2+ Years of experience as a Business Analyst on Federal Government projects

  • Ability to confidently communicate to and advise senior management

  • Experience directly communicating with, supporting or training an end-user community

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, emerging growth environment while still providing high level customer support and driving customer experience

Desired

  • Experience in Project Management
