Our Product Management Team is seeking an experienced Product Managerto gather and deliver product requirements and specification documents for SilkRoad’s emerging solutions, define product visioning, understand the competitive landscape, define the product strategy, and work closely with internal teams and clients to guide and assist development of key features and prioritize development timelines. The Product Manager - New Products will be responsible for delivering innovative products to the market while working closely with leadership, clients, and technical teams to ensure product development aligns with business and technology outcomes.
Your contributions to SilkRoad will include:
Envisioning and defining emerging, industry-leading solutions that service the HR Talent Management sector and drive business agility.
Acting as the product champion for new and existing products; working with cross-functional teams to enhance existing products by addressing dependencies and points of intersection with other systems.
Gathering and analyzing feedback from sales, marketing, development and the market.
Developing a deep understanding of target customer needs and championing the needs of the customer when defining, designing, building and launching products.
Acting as a solution subject matter expert within the company, leading the research and analysis of competitors and market opportunities to include innovative capabilities and features.
Translating market demand and customer analysis into sales projections.
Solving problems and help others to iteratively adapt by planning for and embracing change.
Immersing yourself into the current software product and the ongoing development cycle to gain an immediate sense of priorities, process, timing and a view of the inner workings of the teams.
Defining product backlogs, develop user stories, and outlines solution requirements.
Working closely with development and product managers to integrate and migrate traditional SilkRoad products into the new solution paradigm.
Deeply understanding customer use cases and pain points and takes ownership over products to continually measure and improve customer satisfaction.
Utilizing product management tools and models to support development initiatives.
Working with our partners and customers and learn how they use and integrate with our products.
Working with strategic partners to define and integrate SilkRoad’s solutions with a broad ecosystem of solutions to support business agility.
Measuring and reports the actual results of the product strategy to target success metrics and the overall plan.
Demonstrates experience in successfully bringing new products to market and driving customer adoption.
Demonstrates personal excellence, integrity and accountability.
Identifies ways to continuously improve own and/or company performance.
Experienced in Data Warehousing solutions and modern reporting & visualization products and techniques.
Experienced in defining SAAS multitenant products & solutions containing large data sets from multiple sources.

Bachelor's degree in a business or technical field; Master's in a technical field is a major plus.
Minimum of 8 years of product management and/or technical program management experience in a SaaS environment.
One or more of the following certifications are strongly preferred: Certified Product Manager (CPM), The Pragmatic Institute Product Management Certification, or The Product School Product Management Certificate.
Experience with JIRA.
