Job Description Summary

The Pricing Strategy Director is responsible for creating robust Pricing Strategies to support CLEAResult’s profitable growth objectives. The Director will lead the assessment, design, and communication of approaches to managing cash revenue, gross margins, performance risk, alternative payment structures, and potential insurance products.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive holistic pricing strategy across all segments/regions for new and existing services

  • Establish a standard set of contract pricing models for use in RFP process to simplify and expedite RFP and contract management

  • Lead Pricing team in the delivery of pricing, revenue and margin analysis, and support for business activity including RFP’s

  • Drive team connectivity to RFP process, contract management and billing shared service center groups

  • Collect and evaluate implications of market variables (e.g. regulatory changes, competition) on pricing strategy including scenario analysis (e.g. Monte Carlo simulation)

  • Develop and maintain pricing and gross margin tools and concepts and educate stakeholders and partners on these

  • Lead team to partner on account-specific pricing strategies and tactical pricing/revenue execution

  • Understands the business case with an appreciation of financial/analytical issues and the P&L implications

  • Strong ability to create, articulate, and present a persuasive recommendation regarding financial proposals to key stakeholders within a highly cross-functional, matrixed organization

  • Analyze various markets to gain an understanding of compelling value propositions, competitive positioning, and most desirable product attributes and trade-offs and how these link to pricing strategies

  • Other tasks as needed or assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred. Pricing or Six Sigma training/certification is a plus.

  • 10+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis roles including revenue or pricing management. Contract pricing experience a plus.

  • A minimum of 6 years of Managerial experience and demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and build out teams

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to tie detailed analysis to overarching strategies

  • Experience engaging cross-functionally to drive large programs or initiatives

  • Strong initiative, problem-solving ability, and sense of ownership when driving assigned projects to completion

  • Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to influence at all levels across a matrixed organization, including Executive Level

  • Willing to travel based on business and training needs (up to 20%)

  • Mentor and partner across the Pricing group and key stakeholder functions including but not limited to: Solutions, Delivery, Finance, Sales, and Legal/Contracting teams
