The Workday Project Coordinator is an organized, detail-oriented and collaborative professional who provides administrative and project coordination for Workday project initiatives and operational support. The Workday Project Coordinator administers and organizes activities related to Workday projects. Working closely with the project partners or the business owners and application analysts to lead various coordinating tasks, which include scheduling, change management processes, maintaining system documentation, and general system support coordination. This role requires a blended mix of functional and technical skills related to the implementation of Workday software solutions.
Gathering documenting understanding business owner’s requirements.
Translating business requirements into configurable solutions and ensuring detailed unit testing of the
- Coordinating with business customer, Workday developers and project managers during multiple rounds of
testing, responding to and resolving testing issues.
Work alongside Project Managers to arrange the logistics of a project.
Leading the governance, security and change management activities.
Leading and driving tenant maintenance activities.
A strong presenter with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Support other project coordination activities as needed.
Other job functions as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, or a directly related field experience is required.
Minimum three years of experience working as a project coordinator skill with Workday applications.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and business owners.
Experience with Microsoft Office suite - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project and ServiceNow.
Prior Workday implementation experience and knowledge of Workday tool set: Studio, EIB, Core Connector, Report Writer, XSLT, Oxygen.
Functional knowledge and experience of Workday HCM, Finance and Supply Chain modules.
Familiarity with Integrations, Performance/Talent, Payroll, Recruiting, Reporting, Security, Time Tracking
Excellent time and project management skills, customer service and interpersonal skills, system diagnostic and communication (written and oral) are critical for success in this position.
