In this role, you have the opportunity to


PMO Support Officer is responsible to support the management of the project or program to deliver on the project or program results and outcome. The PMO Support Officer will use the governance, processes, practices, and tools established by the organization and provides administrative support for the delivery of the project or program work within its domain.

When appropriate, PMO Support officer may also develop standards, tools and practices to specifically support a particular project effort. Additionally, he/she is responsible to guide and monitors the activities of projects or multiple related projects or program and support project or program management in developing project plans, schedules, budgets and deliverables.

  • Provides a consultative role to projects and or programs by supplying templates, best practices, training, access to information and lessons learnt from other projects

  • Ensure application of project management methodology, best practices and standards in projects

  • Monitors the competing constraints of scope, schedule, budget, quality, resources and risk

  • Provides project / program management with regular performance status, variances to plan and identification of areas for corrective actions

  • Coordinating communication across projects

  • Monitors compliance to project management standards, policies, procedures and templates

  • Lead and manage changes to scope, cost and time through integrated change control process

  • Perform consolidated risk reporting to the program leadership and escalate risks which require management attention

  • Facilitation of project web site, special meetings, war room, PM software support

  • Facilitate capturing lessons learned and initiate any project specific improvement actions

  • Establishing resource management model & tracking utilization, programs make better decisions for project prioritization

  • Responsible to create overall program communication standards for projects to follow

  • Assist the program manager in developing necessary communications to program stakeholders

  • Track program and project cost spend and create forecast reports to manage cost

  • Validates financial forecasts and provides on-going reconciliation of resources and other related project expenditures

  • Fosters excellent cross functional communications and integrates the work of multiple stakeholders to achieve business objectives

  • Ability to navigate in a highly matrixed organization effectively

  • Solid interpersonal and collaboration skills
