Wells Fargo Wholesale Technology Platform Management is hiring a senior application support professional. This position is part of our Wholesale Platform International Services technology team, which supports a wide array of business domains including Payment Investigations and Reconciliations. This position will be located at our offices in Charlotte, NC.

This individual will utilize his/her experience in supporting applications on a large scale while applying and contributing to enterprise standards, best practices, common components and methodology. He/She will perform in a variety of capacities, such as:

  • Actively participate in the development of technical support strategies and plans

  • Act as an internal consultant regarding use of tools and process re-engineering to improve delivery, support and governance process execution

  • Provide complex technical expertise for technical issues and initiatives related to large-scale applications, systems, databases and/or other technical products and services

  • Oversee the creation of diagnostic, simulation and other tools to maintain, enhance and/or restore service or data to systems

  • Lead support projects and migrations from development to production, upgrades, installations and/or configurations

  • Identify and drives resolution of complex network, hardware and software issues

  • Develop and negotiates workarounds

  • Initiate longer-term design solutions or projects

  • Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported areas

  • Oversee creation, updates, and testing of the business continuation plan

  • Provide direction or guidance to less experienced staff.

This role requires mentoring and leading other support team members and taking on leadership of various technology initiatives while working within a geographically dispersed team both in the US and India. This individual will also work on call as assigned which may include nights, weekends, and/or holidays, as needed or scheduled as part of on call support coverage.

Selected candidate will be required to work within the following Wells Fargo location: 300 S Brevard St, Charlotte NC

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of systems support analysis experience demonstrated through work or military experience

  • 4+ years of experience working in managed services as demonstrated through work, military, or education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting technology at an enterprise-level

  • Ability to interact effectively at varying levels of the business and technical organizations; including management

  • Strong team or technical leadership experience

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • 5+ years of Incident Management System experience

  • IT Infrastructure Library Certification (ITIL)

  • Ability to work on call as assigned

  • Ability to work additional hours as needed

  • Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment
