Supplier Quality Analyst

Overview

The Supplier Quality Analyst will champion our overall efforts to maintain and improve world class quality performance from our suppliers and be a strong advocate for our customers to resolve quality issues.

Responsibilities

  • Provide supplier quality leadership and vision to enable the organization’s short and long-term objectives

  • Enhance supplier quality strategy in partnership with category management and business strategy

  • Coordinate and manage Global corporate quality disciplines

  • Develop and maintain corporate supplier quality and Environmental Product Compliance (EPC) information electronic resources

  • Support Global Environmental Product Compliance (EPC) efforts including: REACH, RoHS, Conflict Minerals, Material Disclosures/IMDS

  • Monitor and enhance the supplier selection strategy

  • Provide guidance on supplier scorecard metrics to commercial teams

  • Lead timely resolution of corrective actions between customers and suppliers

  • Audit key suppliers for quality, delivery and productivity improvement opportunities

  • Develop multiple strong supplier partner relationships

  • Follow Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify and execute continuous improvement projects

Skills Required / Behaviors

  • Proficiency in Global quality disciplines (FMEAs, Control Plans, PPAP, PSW, APQP, SPC, 8Ds)

  • A self-starter who brings the utmost level of integrity to the company

  • Facilitation skills with large, complex cross-functional teams

  • Experience working with both qualitative and quantitative data analysis

  • Customer / Supplier centric empathy

  • Benchmarking, trend analysis, data analysis

  • Influence and negotiation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Management or related discipline.

  • 5 years manufacturing or distribution quality management experience

  • Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt preferred

  • Based in Glenview, IL or Charlotte, NC office preferred but not required

Reports to: Director, Supplier Quality

Travel: up 30%
