KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate in Financial Services Solutions for our Consulting practice.
Participate in large-scale banking initiatives focused on delivering strategic, operational, technical, and/or product development changes associated with new business and technology strategies
Support delivery of payments related business models and end-to-end process re-design; assessing the current state across business and IT, identifying key pain points, developing recommendations aligned to industry leading benchmarks, defining a target state operating model, and developing high level conceptual and detailed design
Develop and build project knowledge across areas including scope definition, business case development, financial analysis and modelling, requirements gathering, functional and technical design, vendor assessment, testing, training, and implementation phases
Assist in the development and presentation of client deliverables, reports, and findings in a clear, logical, and concise manner
Develop relationships with client personnel, serve as a liaison between clients and upper management, and help identify opportunities to provide additional services
A minimum of two years of consulting experience at a recognized firm and/or retail/commercial deposits institution
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
Previous payments business experience and knowledge of retail and/or commercial payments including card services, merchant processing, eCommerce, clearing and settlement, and fraud
Strong understanding of project management and implementation/development methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project with excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Travel may be up to 80-100%
