Scope of Position:
- The IT Rotational Development Program (ITRDP) is a three-year program in which candidates will gain experiences across multiple areas of Information Technology. Each candidate will complete three 1-year rotations as an IT Senior Analyst. The areas of rotation can include business engagement, infrastructure, applications, business operations and/or information security. Upon successful completion of the rotational program the candidate will be placed in a permanent role within IT.
Focus is based on job role. Day-to-day tasks may include conducting analysis, providing support, problem solving / troubleshooting, and/or service development.
Participate in operations activities to enable the management of IT services across the enterprise.
Frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, and concepts and techniques.
Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
May take on moderate size projects or several components of a large project.
Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects .
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Management Systems or Computer Engineering OR corresponding Associate’s Degree with 2+ years in a technical IT role
Previous work experience in an IT-based role is preferred.
Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks.
Team player with excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills; ability to effectively present information to all levels of the organization.
Able to change and adjust smoothly as the situation demands.
Advanced knowledge of MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with creating and maintaining application and infrastructure services.
Project management skills.
Up to 10% domestic travel.
Rotation might include relocation to another site within the United States.
Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time:
- Normal work week 40+ hours (Monday – Friday)
