The Fraud and Claims Operations Specialist 2 - Call Center will primarily be handling inbound calls from internal and external customers to service matters related to credit card fraud.

Specifically, the person in this position:

• Answers high-volume inbound calls and responds to customer inquiries regarding existing credit card claim

• May add additional transactions to claim

• Uses a variety of sources for information, including Online systems and tools/models

• May perform general account handling functions such rebilling transactions and sending appropriate correspondences

• Documents research findings and actions on cases for possible referrals for Suspicious Activity, Identity Theft Operations (ITO), and Suspected Financial Abuse

• May contact customers and/or vendors to validate transactions

• Prepares required documentation including Suspicious Activity Reports and Elder Fraud Abuse, service complaints, or inquiries

• Has ability to take on special tasks when required by leadership

Training starts May 18th. Training schedule is 8am-5pm Mon-Fri for 4 weeks. Schedule after training will be 3:00pm-Midnight Mon-Fri.

•Starting salary will be dependent on experience. Typically starts around $15.75-16.75/hr.

• Candidates will be eligible to receive a 15% shift differential for any eligible hours worked after 4pm weekdays

• 5% Language differential for qualified Spanish-bilingual candidates

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ months of customer service or military experience; or an AA/AS degree or higher

Desired Qualifications:

  • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment

  • Ability to research and correspond with customers, responding to their questions and concerns with detailed information

  • Ability to research, analyze, and determine a course of action for financial transactions

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Customer service focus with the ability to balance needs of clients, shareholders, and team members

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Call center experience

  • Credit card fraud claims or prevention experience

  • Bilingual speaking proficiency in Spanish/English

  • Fraud investigations experience

  • Ability to work additional hours as needed

  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or scheduled
