We are hiring a Software Engineer to help design, build, and automate cloud platforms within the Hybrid Environments organization. The Wells Fargo Hybrid Environments team is tasked with modernizing the application development and hosting ecosystem. Knowledge of Kubernetes, public and private cloud technologies, automation, and knowledge of deployment methodologies there-in are key aspects of this role.
This member of the Cloud Management Engineering team will be responsible for building, deploying, and supporting COTS (commercial off-the-shelf) applications which include but are not limited to: Grafana, Prometheus, Cortex, and Loki. Position will work with the Enterprise Pipeline to deploy these products in support of monitoring platforms, services, and applications within Hybrid Cloud Environments. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for automation to the table as they work to build out Wells Fargo’s presence on public Cloud providers.
5+ years of software engineering experience
1 + year of cloud computing experience
1+ year of experience working with Kubernetes computer program
3 + years of Windows or Linux scripting experience
An industry-standard technology certification
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
3+ years of Kubernetes experience
Working knowledge of Cloud Platforms in one or a combination of the following: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)
3+ years of experience securing public cloud deployments on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Azure
Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment
Knowledge or experience of Artifactory
Experience of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) experience or exposure to any other scaling principles
2+ years of experience with continuous integration development technologies such as IBM Udeploy, (UrbanCode Deploy), Jenkins, etc.
Experience with version control or source code repositories to include: Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory or XMLSpy
Other Desired Qualifications
1+ year experience building Helm Charts
1+ year of Terraform experience
The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
NC-Charlotte: Min: $84,000 Mid: $120,000 Max: $156,000
