Gallagher Client Services Manager (Account Manager) in Charlotte, North Carolina

Position Summary

This position is responsible for implementing and maintaining the client service standards of Gallagher as well as ensuring deliverables are accurate and provided in a timely manner. You will work within the Health & Welfare team assisting our non-profit clients.

What you will be involved in:

  • Analyze and prepare quarterly and annual administrative reporting

  • Research, troubleshoot and follow-up on participant and client issues while documenting all interactions and escalating issues to appropriate team members when necessary

  • Ensure that all materials presented to clients are accurate, complete and delivered on time

  • Review signed legal documents and follow up with clients on any outstanding items

  • Continually gain knowledge of relative compliance topics and develop an enhanced understanding of our products, services, systems and processes

  • Completion of standard auditor confirmation requests

  • Ensure prompt processing and resolution of all client service and plan administration changes, issues and questions with internal and external parties

  • Supports nonqualified executive benefits plans for clients

  • Performs required servicing to maintain policies

  • Retains clients through personable, prompt, and accurate service Interacts with clients and participants to discuss benefits and performance

  • Analyzes and prepares client financial reports, presentations, legal documents, and proposals

  • Ensures regulatory compliance, legal, audit, and other standards are met

  • Stays up-to-date on compliance, product, insurance, and industry topics


  • Bachelors degree plus 3 or more years client coordination--OR--High School diploma/GED with 8 or more years client coordination and management experience

  • Life insurance license or willingness to obtain (Gallagher pays for training)

  • Able and willing to travel approximately 25% of the time, or less

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and MS Office

U.S. Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be willing to execute Gallagher’s Employee Agreement or Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement which requires, among other things, post-employment obligations relating to non-solicitation, confidentiality and non-disclosure
