The Actuarial Development Program (ADP) is critical in fostering the internal actuarial talent of the organization. Responsibilities can include building actuarial models, pricing new products, calculating and reporting actuarial balances, evaluating actuarial risks and hedge strategies, evaluating experience and recommending assumptions, explaining the evolution of actuarial balances and how they impact company financial performance. Associates in the ADP will communicate results to managers and others across the organization while they learn actuarial techniques and practices.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Mathematical, Statistical and/or Actuarial Sciences.

  • GPA of 3.0 or higher.

  • Minimum of one (1) SOA exam passed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Mathematical, Statistical and Financial background.

  • Spreadsheet and programming skills (Database a plus).

  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
