UNC Health Care Sales Clerk (Temporary) - Hospitality Shop in Chapel Hill, North Carolina

Shifts: Evenings and Weekends


Performs duties as assigned by management.


  1. Assist customers and perform cashier duties

  2. Train new volunteers to help with sales

  3. Prepare and process orders for food items, sundries and gifts as requested

  4. Restocking the shop as needed

  5. Receive merchandise, input into POS system

  6. Rotate stock Conduct inventory

  7. Resolve customer complaints

  8. Help design displays with new merchandise

  9. Help defer shoplifting

  10. Cleaning and other daily duties to maintain the appearance of the shop

  11. Set up new shop after renovations

Education Requirements:

● High School diploma or GED

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

● No licensure or certification required.

Professional Experience Requirements:

● Two (2) years of experience as a sales clerk or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
