The Systems Engineering & Technical Assistance (SETA) will be a member of the End-to-End SIGINT Ground SE team responsible for performing end-to-end analysis to ensure SIGINT Ground systems closure in order to support Enterprise milestones. The duties of SIGINT Ground SETA can vary depending on the point in the system lifecycle but can include: requirements, architecture and interfaces, test planning, analysis and verification, and support to ad hoc project execution tasks. The SE performs technical planning, systems integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analysis for total systems. Analysis are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. The SETA will also help the government evaluate and guide SIGINT ground programs as they evolve to commercial trends like Agile development, Cloud migration, and streamlined DevOps deployments. This is an opportunity to build your experience with using the latest open source tools, trends, and techniques on technical issues supporting the mission of our Intelligence Community Customer. The individual may also assist in developing / reviewing Acquisition Strategies and Acquisition Packages; Request for Changes (RFCs); Statement of Works (SOWs); Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), and development contracts. The SETA will also track project execution, identify and mitigate project risk, brief senior government customers, and work collaboratively in a multi-contractor, FFRDC and government environment.
Requires 0 to 2 years with BS/BA or 6 to 8 years no degree.
Must have a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, or related scientific or technical discipline.
Must have an active TS/SCI clearance with Poly.
Former experience working within DoD, Intelligence Community (IC), or Westfield's customer as a SETA.
Familiarity with space/ground aerospace systems engineering and SIGINT.
