SAIC Senior Systems Engineer/SETA, TS/SCI & Poly Required in CHANTILLY, Virginia

Description

SAIC has an opening on an exciting program for a Senior Systems Engineer! Join us and apply your systems engineering and acquisition process expertise to help drive acquisition and fielding of a critical new capability.

Systems Engineering activities include: concept of operations formulation, requirements definition, analysis and engineering, system and software architecting, system analysis and design, interface and data architectures, validation and verification, systems integration, system & operation performance analysis, technical risk reduction, lifecycle cost analysis & estimation and decision analysis.

Acquisition support activities include: ensuring the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints; performing functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software or engineering specifications.

Qualifications

  • You must currently hold a TS/SCI & Poly

  • Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or related technical field and fourteen (14) years or more experience

  • Experience with technical collection systems

  • Experience with IC acquisition processes and artifacts

  • Familiarity with the technical characteristics of a variety of signal structures

  • Outstanding written and oral communications skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related applications

DESIRED:

  • Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field

  • PMP or similar certifications
