Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior SharePoint Administrator to join our team in the Chantilly, VA location.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Administration of SharePoint servers, back end SQL servers, and other supporting Windows based servers as well as system documentation
Supporting the installation, operation, and maintenance of all current and future secure SharePoint deployments
Analyzing and troubleshooting system anomalies, and ensuring optimal information system performance
Gathering and analyzing user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
Conducting trial runs of programs and software applications to make sure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct
Collaborating with managerial, engineering, and technical personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes
Performing revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements
Writing or contributing to instructions or manuals to guide end users.
Other duties as assigned
Requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems related field of study or equivalent, and five to seven years of related experience
DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification required (CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, Sec+, CND or SSCP)
DoD 8570 computing environment certification. Microsoft exam certification within 6 months of hire
Demonstrated ability to administer SharePoint-enabled solutions to satisfy design objectives
Experience in deploying, configuring and customizing SharePoint 2010
Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint 2010/2013, Windows 2003/2008 Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Windows XP/7, and associated server and workstation hardware and software
Good working knowledge of data backups, web development and web design methods
ITIL 4 Foundation certification
Possess a good understanding of business applications, work with technical staff to understand and resolve software problems
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL 2005/2008, scripting, SharePoint workflows and Records Management
Experience in developing and deploying custom workflow activities in SharePoint designer 2010
Experience securing and optimizing applications
Proficiency with SharePoint Designer, Windows Workflow Foundation and Visual Studio
Security Clearance Requirements:
US Citizenship required and active TS clearance adjudicated within the last 6 years
Candidate must be open to CI poly
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
