Syntelligent is seeking a Knowledge Manager - Journeyman with active TS/SCI clearance and current CI Poly (preferred) for an awarded/funded contract in support of a government customer in Chantilly, VA.

Primary Responsibilities:

The Knowledge Manager - Journeyman is responsible for operating and enabling comprehensive, scalable, flexible, and rigorous Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) ready analytic data environment for a key player in the IC.

  • Thoroughly understands cradle-to-grave knowledge lifecycle management processes and procedures.

  • Manages all aspects of services for the Knowledge Management (KM) environment and the full lifecycle of all knowledge assets.

  • Collects, analyzes, stores and shares knowledge and information across the entire lifecycle.

  • Provides an effective and constantly maturing KM solution that leverages new strategies and approaches.

  • Creates and organizes repositories for storing survey data and other documentation.

  • Improves efficiency by reducing the need to rediscover knowledge.

  • Coordinates and collaborates with the team to identify, create, curate, audit, and maintain currency of knowledge articles and knowledgebase.

  • Documents, organizes, and shares data and articulates information to the Team.

  • Provides detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts.

  • Ensures known errors and issues impacting customer experience are captured in the knowledgebase, including any identified and documented workarounds to reduce resolution times.

  • Ensures data formats and data values are consistent with Ontology Model(s).

  • Understands Knowledge Base, Semantic Web, and Ontologies technologies and standards.

  • Ensures survey data collected is represented in the data models, either through identifying existing data models or developing new data models.

  • Uses text analysis to better understand survey data collected and where it fits in the Data/Ontology Model(s).

  • Ensures extracted data are normalized to entities and attributes in the Ontology Model(s).

  • Ensures the developed Data/Ontology model is consistent and follows open standards such as RDF/OWL and SPARQL.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelors degree and four (4) years or more experience; Masters and zero (0) years experience (but must have demonstrated experience below).

  • At least one (1) year of demonstrated experience utilizing Knowledge Base, Semantic Web, and Ontologies technologies and standards.

  • At least one (1) year of demonstrated experience conducting data modeling using ontologies.

(REQUIRED) Active TS/SCI clearance and current CI Poly (or ability to obtain prior to hiring).

  • (MAY BE REQUIRED) Current Intelligence Fundamentals Professional Certification (IFPC) (or higher DIE Certification such as GPC-F) or ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire (https://dodcertpmo.defense.gov/IFPC/).

“The likely salary range for this position is $72,500- $85,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.”
