CVS Health Clinical Liaison in Chantilly, Virginia

Job Description

The Behavioral Health Clinical Liaison supports the state Medicaid plan by outreaching members, interfacing with behavioral health providers, and being the subject matter expert for their region. Incumbent provides a consultative function regarding behavioral health issues to care management team. Position facilitates training on topical behavioral health issues to member facing staff at plan.This position is a leader who may participate in local, regional and state level stakeholder meetings. Position serves a variety of functions in the plan including as subject matter expert, consultative to care management staff, and participation in stakeholder meetings.

Required Qualifications

Unrestricted and active state of Virginia license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP)Must be a Virginia Resident3 years community mental health work experience requiredManaged work experience in behavioral health and/or care management preferredExperience serving chronically ill populations with mental health and Substance Use Disorders requiredPreferred applicant will reside in Central Region (Richmond area).Clean driving record and valid driver's license state of Virginia.

Preferred Qualifications

Managed Care work experienceDemonstrated ability to form and maintain collaborative working relationships with community based mental health providersKnowledge of Virginia Department of Medical Assistance (DMAS) regulations related to behavioral health and substance use services, and prior experience providing behavioral health training

Education

Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Human Services, or closely related field. Preferred graduate degree from CACREP accredited program.
