Job Description - To be fully involved in supporting the machine and Operators, inspecting the product to ensure it meets the quality specifications required by customers in order to satisfy their expectations. Promoting the continuous improvement concept. Comply with the company’s needs so as to maintain profitability in a safe environment

Job Requirements - • Keep and maintain a safe and clean work environment. • Inspecting the products the machine produces identifying flaws or discrepancies so that the operator can adjust the machine. • Discard or reject products of materials not meeting specifications. • Measure, weight and count products and materials. • Discuss inspection results with operator and/or quality assurance to determine necessary course of action if needed. • Follow packing specifications for product, be quick to respond if packing specifications change in the manufacturing process assigned. • Follow all HACCP and good manufacturing practices (GMP’s) • Follows environmental and safety regulations and acts in compliance with US laws • Cleanliness and order in and around the machine are responsibility of packers under the guidelines of good manufacturing practices governing the company. Thus whenever required and when the machine shuts down, the cleaning check sheet will be followed and filled out to ensure such GMP. • Ensure the right labels for the right product is being used in consecutive order, to have the correct accountability and traceability. • Assist operator in filling out the production reports accurately and in a timely fashion, in order to record inspection or test data such as weights, temperatures and quantities inspected /graded. • Follow the guidelines of the Operator as to the performance of the machine in order to achieve the greatest proficiency. • Be observant in learning and seeing how the machine works to be used in greater capacities. • Inspection packers must be able to move between different machines making boxes, loading the skids and supporting all activities requested by operators. • Rotate with other packers during the breaks. • Follow any other duties assigned by supervisor.
