Organization & Role

The Teradyne Field Applications team is looking for a highly-motivated, energetic, driven Field Application Engineer who will work collaboratively with the team as well as independently to determine and develop imaginative, thorough, and practical application solutions.

Responsibilities

  • As an Applications Engineer, you will work collaboratively with the team as well as independently to deliver progressive test solutions for digital, mixed-signal, and RF semiconductor products.

Work within international teams comprised of Teradyne and customer engineers Conduct training classes Travel domestic as well as international for test program release activities Develop strong customer relations at a technical level, to gain further insight to direction and needs of the customer.

Focus on customer satisfaction you'll support our sales team in achieving the company's business goals and helping our customers in using Teradyne ATE platforms to their full potential.

Part of an international team, this position gives you the chance to work on cutting edge technology in a cross-functional environment collaborating with peers, design engineers, marketing, and sales.

The ultimate mission is to:

Develop, debug and deploy test solutions for semiconductor devices based on customer specifications. Provide applications support to customer engineers.

Basic Qualifications & Skills

  • Basic Qualifications & Skills

  • Work and feel comfortable within a multinational environment.

  • Maintain trustful relationships within the team and with key customers.

  • Good knowledge in electrical measurement techniques

  • Good knowledge in electrical hardware design techniques.

  • Software programming skills in VB, C# and other languages

  • Solid understanding of semiconductors.

  • Strong analytical skills and practical problem-solving skills

  • Can work under higher pressure and enthusiastic to work.

  • Fluent in English and Hebrew

  • Willing and able to travel, domestically / internationally, sometimes on very short notice.

Education

  • Bachelor or higher degree in Electronics Engineering or related fields.

  • Experience in the ATE industry is a plus.

  • Experience in RF/Microwave testing is a plus.
