The Processing Clerk ensures driver files are completed accurately and timely. Processing clerks will complete a DOT background and ensure the information obtained for the driver file is complete and in compliance with policy and regulations.
Reviews driver application to ensure complete information is provided.
Gather information from reports and ensure that driver candidates meet hiring guidelines.
Conduct complete DOT background investigation including previous employer verifications.
Communicate with operation managers to make certain that driver files are completed accurately and timely.
Assist drivers in the correct completion with policy regulations.
Other duties as assigned.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Experience with DOT regulations and compliance preferred.
Proven work experience in an office environment.
Ability to multitask and prioritize to complete projects within deadline.
Excellent communication skills.
Comfortable with communicating via phone and email.
Excellent teamwork skills.
