70702BR DevOps Engineer Senior Professional Job DescriptionCerner Government Services is hiring for a DevOps Engineer. A DevOps Engineer r is critical to the successful implementation of Cerner solutions within healthcare environments.?In this role, the DevOps Engineer is expected to take a consultative approach to an extensive change process by using relationship building skills to develop trust and rapport with clients, multiple teams and vendors.?You will also provide system implementation, support, monitoring and maintenance of Cerner's solutions and services. Perform daily system operations tasks to verify system integrity and availability. Mentor and support associates in daily tasks and troubleshooting. Manage changes and project activities, and communicate with impacted stakeholders. Support installation and maintenance of Cerner solutions, layered software, and infrastructure. Evaluate, update, and improve project documentation. Develop and deploy automation tools to optimize daily activities. QualificationsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, CIS, MIS or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience At least 5 years of DevOps engineering work experience Preferred Qualifications:At least 3 years of Jenkins CI/CD work experience Scripting experience preferred Automation experience preferred Additional InformationApplicants for U.S.-based positions with Cerner must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
