Kelly Services Upstream Cell Line Development in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Kelly Scientific has a new direct hire position for an Upstream Cell Line Development Associate with a Biopharmaceutical company in Cambridge, MA.

This position is Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm with some overtime.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Support molecular characterization of cell lines

  • Perform single cell cloning, cell imaging, liquid handling automation, and cell-based recombinant protein quantification

  • Participate in transfection, stable selection, cloning, and characterization of mammalian cell lines for clinical and commercial production

  • Coordinate with cross-functional departments on various projects

  • Interpret data and contribute to technical reports

  • Identify technical issues and implement solutions

You are an excellent candidate if you meet the following requirements:

  • BS/MS in Biochemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical Science required

  • Must have 1-3+ years’ cell line development experience; industry experience given preference

  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of cell culture principles and aseptic technique required

  • Excellent communication skills, able to troubleshoot and resolve issues, highly organized with strong time management skills given preference

  • Experience with qPCR, Octet, ELISA FACS, liquid automation, and/or Next-Gen sequencing given preference

Pay ranges between $24.00 - $29.00/hr., based on background and experience and is also eligible for overtime pay.

Must be authorized to work in the US without restrictions or need for sponsorship
