Responsibilities

  • Maintain existing Java web applications including troubleshooting and develop new features

  • Server/Client-side web-based development

  • Create and maintain internal technical documentation

  • Tackle and solve challenging problems

Soft skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Fluency in both written and spoken English

  • Ability to meet deadlines, work within an international environment, exchange knowledge with colleagues and be up-to-date with new trends

  • Passion for clean, maintainable code

  • Can-do attitude with a willingness to pitch in to get the job done

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is desireable

  • Work experience as a Web Developer

  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented development, Java, Java EE, and other related technologies

  • Development experience (currently hands on) in front-end technologies such as JSP, HTML, CSS, Angular.

  • Hands-on experience applying design patterns

  • Expertise in Test Driven Development

  • Application build, deploy using Continuous Integration / Deployment (CI/CD) tools

  • Writing SQL queries and debugging stored procedures within an Microsoft SQL Server environment or similar.
