Citi as the leading global bank is present in 100+ countries, 55 of which are in EMEA. In each of these countries the Central Banks and other financial regulatory bodies require the timely and accurate reporting of key monetary statistics. CSC has a regional process owner and advisor function for local regulatory reporting in EMEA. We are providing value added insight into numbers and excellence in reporting, Work closely across functions regions and countries on a daily basis and develop a deep understanding of the whole financial activity, along with the associated accounting, financial and full spectrum of risk reporting complexities.
The Finance Rptg Sr. Manager is a senior manager position to lead more teams being responsible for the generation, tracking and submission of financial reports in coordination with the Finance Teams.
Responsible for the preparation of the monthly & quarterly statistical and AnaCredit regulatory reporting returns to the Central Bank of Ireland.
Responsible for ongoing review and development of current processes to increase efficiency.
Identify best practices for reporting processes and contols (incl. reconciliations, variance analysis, etc) and implement across multiple processes.
Drive interaction with country teams and cluster reporting & control leads.
Provide support to local Finance teams on an ad-hoc basis (e.g. audits, regulatory inquiries).
Responsible for implementation of all key controls and compliance with local/regional/global policies for all processes managed by his/her team.
Complete all tasks – having connection with the organization’s activity but not detailed in the JDs – charged by the managers.
Manage multiple teams of 10+ people overall,
Coaching supervisors of individual teams,
Hire and retain talent.
What do we expect:
8-10 years of work experience in financial reporting / auditing roles.
Prior knowledge of Citi legal entity processes, systems and data structures would be an asset.
Prior experience in a statistical and/or regulatory reporting role is an advantage.
Accounting and/or Financial reporting experience.
Advanced MS Excel knowledge.
Advanced / Fluent English knowledge.
Self-motivated, detail oriented and maintain high professional standards
Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
