Are you an Oracle HCM Cloud implementation or presales consultant with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience? If so, this is the perfect job for you. The Oracle HCM Demo Engineering team for North America Applications is a team of application experts that bring their previous presales experience coupled with their superior Oracle HCM Cloud implementation experience to build custom demos, proof of concepts, and prototypes for the North America field Sales Engineering organization to demonstrate to potential customers. Additionally, the team builds compelling industry use cases into the global master demonstration systems. This team works on advanced and technically challenging opportunities.
This highly rewarding position has a wide variety of projects. The person selected for this role will serve in the capacity of a sales engineer working closely with North America Shared Services, field Solution Engineering, Sales Demonstration Systems, and Product development to build and deliver customer specific use cases using Oracle’s HCM Cloud platform in conjunction with Oracle’s cutting-edge technology.
Your core responsibility is to understand the needs of sales engineers, build/configure solutions leveraging Oracle’s modern HCM Cloud platform and applications, and competitively differentiate Oracle HCM Cloud solutions.
You are expected to work directly with the solution engineering team to:
Provide direction and specialist knowledge in applying Oracle HCM Cloud solutions to meet customers’ needs and effectively differentiate against competitors.
Develop outstanding client specific use case configurations and content that exceed expectations of the field solution engineers
Build repeatable cloud solutions and present the solutions to stakeholders
Create cross pillar and industry-focused solution innovations
Convey the business value of Oracle solutions to meet customer needs
To be successful in this role, you will ideally be/have:
A passion for learning and leadership in the Human Capital Management space
At least 3-5 years of experience development, consulting, pre-sales or implementing Oracle HCM Cloud solutions
Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud, especially around Fast Formulas, BI, HCM Data Extracts, and Reporting and Analytics
Experience as a developer in VBCS, Oracle Digital Assistant, or Oracle Analytics Cloud
Good Understanding of Fusion Data model.
Ability to discuss key industry issues and a passion for figuring out solutions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Team player mentality
Java based Expression builder coding and/or Design Studio Groovy scripting
Experience with Apps Configuration, SQL, App Composer, data load utilities, HCM Extracts, BIP, and OTBI.
PL/SQL and Java skills are optional.
Cloud experience, optional and good to have (AWS / Azure/ Google Cloud)
Knowledge in Oracle HCM Cloud North America implementations

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.
As a Senior Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Acts as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships.
Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 5 years relevant computer applications or database/tools. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Through knowledge of system and application design. Strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments. Ability to travel as needed. BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable.
