Leads warehouse team to ensure highest level of service standards are met. Will provide direct support to warehouse by providing positive leadership and supervision of warehouse employees. Responsible for motivating employees and maintaining morale at all times to ensure high performance levels.Trains and develops employees to ensure the warehouse functions at the highest level of efficiency, filling in any area as needed. Ensure compliance with safety codes, policies, and procedures are met.Help unload, check in and put away all parts. Including organizing and locating new stock. Pull parts and get them ready to ship for will call, delivery drivers, UPS, and shuttle parts. Unload sort and package brake shoe cores for return in the warehouse. Count, write up, and package Paccar, CAT, and Cummins core returns. Handle all warranty needs, which include taking pictures, getting serial numbers, packaging and shipping, and scraping out parts when needed.Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times. Will assist in counting of physical inventory.COMPETENCIES LIST AND DESCRIBE:Proven working experience as a warehouse employee, with experience in shipping and receiving. Works with employees, possesses the drive to pitch in and exhibit to others a willingness to get the job done.JOB QUALIFICATIONS:High School diploma/GEDThree - Five years of prior experience in a Warehouse Lead, Operations or Logistics environment.Basic computer skillsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to lift and box up cores weighting from 1 pound to 80 pounds for up to 2 hours. This includes bending over grabbing the part and placing it into a stock order box. Brake shoes take between 1-2 hours weighting 15 pounds each. You must bend over grab a shoe and sort them into their respective piles, for packaging later. Must be able to lift 60-80 pounds multiple times to do a core.Incoming parts are the same you must be able to bend over lift from 1-80 pounds and transfer it to it correct location.
