Be accountable for discovering, anticipating and meeting theirfinancial service needs through the active promotion, sales and delivery ofour products and services. Professionally and accurately performing financialtransactions for members, and cross-sells credit union products and servicesto help members achieve their financial goals and the branch achieve its salesgoals. Additionally, the Relationship Banker performs branch/departmentfunctions to ensure efficient operation of the branch, and is activelyengaged with the member, continually focused on providing a quality memberservice experience.This position also focuses on the following: Achieve monthly/annual individual sales and member service goals inorder to contribute the branch and organizational goals. Explain, promote and sell all products and services to current andprospective members. Analyze current member relationships and proactively contact members withrecommendations to help them achieve financial success. Assists as needed within the Member Services team to exceed member serviceexperience. Explain and expedite the opening, closing, transfer, and rollover ofloan and deposit products and services. Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable lawsand regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, thePatriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.Experience: Four year degree required or three to five years of experiencein lieu of degree. Must be in a financial organization with emphasis inconsumer lending and a consultative sales and service role.Education/Certifications/Licenses: Four year degree required or three tofive years of experience in lieu of degree.Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust, credibility anddiplomacy is required. In-depth dialogues, conversations and explanationswith customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors can be of asensitive and/or highly confidential nature. Communications may involvemotivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters ofsignifiOther Skills: Excellent organizational, analytical and problem solvingskills. PC proficient, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,Outlook) and the Internet. Excellent verbal, written, telephone andinterpersonal communication skills. Must possess a service orientation and bewilling to sell products and services. Ability to manage multipleprojects/priorities simultaneously in an effective manner.
