Blue Federal Credit Union Assistant Branch Manager (Broomfield) in Broomfield, Colorado

As the AssistantBranch Manager, you'll assist the branch manager in managing and directingall activities of the branch to meet organizational, financial,operational, service and growth plans. The assistant manager is alsoresponsible for maintaining a cohesive, highly motivated, well-trainedbranch staff. The Assistant Branch Manager will also focus on the following: To assist the branch manager in managing and directing all activities ofthe branch to meet organizational, financial, operational, service andgrowth plans. The assistant manager is also responsible for maintaining acohesive, highly motivated, well-trained branch staff. Maintains a cohesive, highly motivated, well-trained branch staff.Interviews and makes new hire recommendations to the branch manager. Managesemployee performance to include coaching, training, conducting regularemployee observations, provides effective feedback, assists staff withdeveloping action plans to meet branch and credit union goals, conductsperformance reviews, and initiates corrective action and/or terminationswhen n Monitors branch operations and activities to identify opportunities forenhancement of policies, process, procedures, products and pricing.Provides recommendations to branch manager for review. Schedules and allocates resources for adequate branch coverage bycoordinating employee and branch management work schedules with vacations,training, Saturday time off, and approved leaves of absence to ensureoptimum service to our members. Assists the branch manager to ensure that the branch is operating incompliance with credit union regulations, policies and procedures. Ensuresbranch compliance with all safety, emergency preparedness procedures andphysical security to include dual control and cash drawer audits. Reports tobranch manager unsatisfactory conditions or violations. Serves as Branch Manager in their absence. Assists staff or members in researching and solving complex accountproblems in a timely manner with appropriate follow-up. Represents the branch and/or participates in credit union, communityand select employee group functions as appropriate. Performs receptionist, financial specialist duties on an as neededbasis, filling in for peak schedules or for an absence or shortage in thebranch. Prepares monthly branch reports and completes projects and assignmentsassigned by the branch manager within timelines. Attends scheduled meetingsand trainings.Experience: Three years to five years of similar or related experience,including preparatory experience.Education/Certifications/Licenses: A high school degree or equivalentInterpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust, credibility anddiplomacy is required. In-depth dialogues, conversations and explanationswith customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors can be of asensitive and/or highly confidential nature. Communications may involvemotivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters ofsignifiOther Skills: Excellent organizational, analytical and problem solvingskills. PC proficient, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,Outlook) and the Internet. Excellent verbal, written, telephone andinterpersonal communication skills. Must possess a service orientation and bewilling to sell products and services. Ability to manage multipleprojects/priorities simultaneously in an effective manner. Ability tofunction in a financial institution branch environment and utilize standardoffice equipment including but not limited to: fax, copier, telephone,etc. Requires intermediate mathematical skills (calculations and conceptsinvolving decimals, percentages, fractions, etc.)
