Montefiore Medical Center PROGRAM ADMINISTRATOR in Bronx, New York
The candidate is expected to demonstrate excellent clinical skills and judgment in Ophthalmology. The candidate must be able to work independently and in an organized manner and possess strong communication skills. From a clinical perspective the candidate must be able to communicate with medical staff, nursing teams, parents and family members, to ensure patients receive the necessary testing within the definitive time periods and that the quality of the testing is accurate. From a research perspective, the candidate will also be responsible to work with PIs to screen patients and enroll subjects. Attend study meetings, and orchestrate patient follow up on protocol.
Required to work independently in 2 separate NICUS and manage clinical and research components of the position.
Protocol must be vigilantly adhered to in terms of timing and testing.
Required to incorporate visits within a busy clinical practice and facilitate appropriate billing mechanisms.
Bachelor's Degree required
Master's Degree preferred.
1 to 2 years' experience in clinical research.
Excellent communication skills. Able to interact comfortably with professionals, care givers, clinic personnel.
