Red Hat's Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) team is looking for a Facilities Engineering Program Manager to join us in Brno, Czech Republic. In this role, you will help us design, deliver, and maintain facilities and services that reflect Red Hat's culture by creating workplace environments where people love to come to work, interact with their colleagues, and deliver exceptional results. You’ll need to have substantial experience building and leading programmatic facilities engineering programs, as well as experience working as a facility engineering supervisor or facilities manager and proven project management skills gained in a multi-site environment. As a Facilities Engineering Program Manager, you will design and run programs addressing all aspects of engineering infrastructure, statutory compliance, and preventative and reactive maintenance across our Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) offices.
Primary job responsibilities
Serve as a single point of contact for all Maintenance and Engineering escalations throughout EMEA
Work closely with maintenance, operations, and project management teams for the alteration of infrastructure, programmatic break fix, and preventative maintenance programs; review and estimate costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs
Formulate and recommend strategies, objectives, budgets, plans, and procedures for enterprise-wide preventative maintenance and energy management programs in EMEA
Ensure that outsourced vendor associates track the completion of the scheduled work and adhere to agreed-upon service-level agreements (SLAs) and KPIs
Develop and deliver standardized processes for providing ongoing visibility to work and projects, priorities, and expenses (budgeted and unbudgeted) related to facilities engineering
Collaborate as a subject matter expert with Facilities Operations management and team members and multiple business partners including IT, Finance, Real Estate Strategy, Workplace Innovation, Procurement, and Legal teams to promote responsibility compliance and timely delivery of projects
Manage the formulation, adherence to, and tracking of the Facility Engineering team’s capital expenditure (CAPEX) across the region
Conduct quality control (QC) audits and evaluate work standards and performance levels, ensuring that all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and associated infrastructure is maintained and operating at optimum performance levels
5+ years of relevant experience working as a senior technical leader of maintenance and engineering programs within multi-site organizations
Advanced understanding of building and site design, construction, operation, and maintenance, as well as a broad knowledge of design and construction methods and processes related to building construction, electro-mechanical infrastructure, and maintenance
Knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations as they apply to design, construction, operations, and maintenance of buildings and building sites
Fluent language skills in Czech (or Slovak) and English languages
Willingness to travel throughout EMEA as necessary
