Toassist with the management of all functions of the Human Resources department, including all aspects of labor and employee relations, rewards and recognition, operational and departmental support and implementation of annual objectives for the Human Resources Department in accordance with Omni standards.
In absence of the Director and/or Asst. Director, assumes role & responsibility for the Human Resources Department
Participates in planning and execution of associate events planned by the Human Resources Department
Develop associate communications network within the hotel, via bulletin boards, department communication boards, posters and flyers
Act as liaison to management for all associates
Clearly and accurately document all associate issues on a timely basis following counseling and disciplinary procedures
Champions Omni Six Pillars Culture on property, and enthusiastically promotes opportunities within the hotel and company
Manage HRIS to ensure compliance with applicant flow log, drug testing, I9’s, background & reference check, etc.
Responsible for all recruiting efforts for Ski Area, Nordic Center and Golf for summer and winter operations.
Build and foster community relationships to promote the ski area and recruiting efforts.
Manage seasonal review process for summer and winter associates.
Process PIF’s for Ski & Golf to include new hire, work location changes and terminations.
Provide general HR assistance to Ski, Nordic and Golf departments.
Host Welcome Back’s each winter season for returning Ski Area associates.
Hold & promote fall and winter job fairs
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
2-4 years’ experience in Human Resources
Management level Human Resources experience preferred
Human Resources management experience required (training, benefits...)
Hotel experience strongly preferred
Excellent computer skills: Outlook, Word, Excel
Must be highly organized and detail oriented
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be attentive to detail
Must be available to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to succesfully pass a pre employment drug screening
