Naval Medical Command PROFESSIONAL AFFAIRS ASSISTANT in Bremerton, Washington
You will serve as a Professional Affairs Assistant in the Quality Assurance Department NMRTC BREMERTON WA.
You will be responsible for the technical management of the credentials review and clinical privileging recommendation process.
You will establish and/or maintain Navy Reserve healthcare providers? Individual Credentials Files (ICF) or Individual Professional Files (IPF) in correct format or order.
You will receive, review, initiate actions, and provide guidance on completion of providers? application for clinical privileges/staff appointments.
You will communicate both orally and in writing with healthcare practitioners, civilian and military treatment facilities, and various other agencies.
Conditions of Employment
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience assisting with the analysis, design, and implementation for healthcare providers' Credentials Review/Privileging Programs and resolve a wide range of problems. Experience utilizing understanding of the levels at which certification and licensure requirements are conferred/attained for various medical/clinical support specialties in order to effectively process workload. Experience insuring the evaluation, proper granting, and reappraisal of clinical privileges for Health Care Providers. Experience developing detailed procedures and functions for entering and printing data in various formats in order to meet reporting requirements for an agency.
