Job Title: Facilities Supervision
Reports To: Engineering Manager
FLSA Status: Exempt / Full Time

This person is responsible for overseeing the buildings and grounds of AMT, production and building equipment, and supervision of maintenance/janitorial personnel.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This list is not comprehensive but meant to represent the most common or important duties of the position. Other duties will be required and/or assigned.
Oversee building and grounds maintenance.
Schedule/supervise building and equipment preventative maintenance and repair work.
Investigate, setup and utilize a maintenance management system to maximize equipment uptime and ensure operational and efficient facilities.
Supervise the work of building/equipment maintenance team and outside contractors.
Oversee/schedule/supervise installation of production and building equipment.
Coordinate with Engineering and Production on new manufacturing fixture installation and the subsequent handoff to maintenance.
Support various other departments within the company on any building related request, such as new cubicles, new furniture and/or other furnishings.
Ensure the facilities meet compliance standards and government regulations.
Oversee and review health and safety documentation and data.
Manage the upkeep of equipment, supplies, and procedures to meet EHS standards.
Coordinate safety and environmental audits and actions to remedy faults.
Advise on measures to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the facility.
Plan for the future by forecasting the facility’s upcoming needs and requirements.
Be heavily involved with the planning and possible oversight of any building expansion/renovation project.
Manage budgets related to the facility and associated projects.
Deal with emergencies as they arise.
Supervise the work of various maintenance technicians and janitorial staff.
Science/Technology related degree or equivalent work experience required.
5+ years relevant experience, with 1-2 years minimum in a supervisor/manager role.
Ability to work in project teams, preferably managing/leading cross functional teams.
Ability to read and analyze building drawings/schematics.
Experience with silicone and/or plastic injection molding is preferred.
Experience in a controlled manufacturing environment is preferred.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and/or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and/or procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, vendors, non-engineers and/or the general public.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
