Paid & Demand Generation Manager for Oracle for Research (OCI) Preferred Qualifications Paid & Demand Generation Manager for Oracle for Research (OCI) We are looking for a uniquely qualified person to work on the OCI “Oracle for Research” program team. The program focuses on collaborating with researchers to expand Oracle Cloud adoption by researchers, on nurturing and developing community, and on sharing the ways researchers use Oracle Cloud to change the world through their work. Oracle for Research provides scientists, researchers, and university innovators with open communities; high-value, cost-effective, robust Oracle Cloud technologies; and startup and industry collaborations to find solutions to complex problems. The ideal candidate will have some experience managing successful paid campaigns on behalf of a brand and/or agency, proficiency with monitoring and managing live campaigns and proven ability to manage multiple workstreams at once. An understanding of the intricacies of paid activities is a plus. Location + South America (Chile, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica) + Remote ok, depending on candidate experience level. CST preferred. Ideal Candidate Background + 5 years building and managing digital advertising campaigns for a brand or digital agency + Familiarity with cloud, technology, science and research a plus + Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, engage effectively in multiple projects simultaneously, and adjust priorities quickly, while maintaining a high degree of organization + Comfort delivering email drip campaigns to drive leads + Experience with ad software tools (and marketing channels) like Google AdWords, Marin/Kenshoo/DoubleClick, Adobe Analytics, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, reddit and TikTok + Experience with Oracle CX, Eloqua, Endeca, Grapeshot and BlueKai experience a plus + A passion for creative problem solving and innovation, and a proven ability to turn ideas into actions and deliverables + Fluency with MS Excel or similar programs: pivot tables, IF statements and vlookup + Fluency in English + Understands paid terminology and metrics (CPA, CPM, CPC,CPL, MQL) Responsibilities + Architect and manage a full global paid program for Oracle for Research, including but not limited to search, programmatic, display and social -- as well as email/drip sends + Develop strategy and tactical plans for paid go-to-market in your region that deliver tangible results and contribute to building Oracle for Research as a brand among an extremely niche target + Own landing page optimization, A/B testing and lead/revenue targets for the program + Track attribution and return on spend. + Work with our Marketing Operations team to make sure leads get translated into Oracle for Research's CRM database, including assisting with contact uploads, de-duplication segmentation and sends + Manage daily/weekly/monthly forecasting and reporting on traffic, spend, ROI, conversion rates and other key KPIs + Build and traffic campaigns from end-to-end, sometimes across complex and diverse software system + Familiarity with “advanced” paid functions, like segmentation and audience building (custom, lookalikes, etc) + Report upon, visualize and interpret large data sets Compensation: Commensurate on experience Visa Status Allowed: Dependent on applicant’s country of residence Degree/Certifications required: BS/BA; Analytics & Data Specialties Preferred Oracle is an equal Employment Opportunity Employer. Detailed Description and Job Requirements Responsible for digital marketing of products or services in support of Oracle's demand generation strategy using tools to optimize marketing strategies and enhance the customer experience with new technology platforms and innovations. Assist in the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies to optimize the online user experience, increase marketing effectiveness. Executes online marketing programs such as search optimization (paid and natural search), affiliated marketing, social marketing, and viral marketing to create buzz and inbound demand responses. Drive traffic which ultimately generates sales pipeline. Translates ideas used in demand generation into promotional marketing campaigns and advertising personas. Ensures localized content is leveraged for all digital marketing channels including, web, social, paid advertising and outbound emails Conducts analysis for programs effectiveness and uses the findings for market site enhancements and to leverage optimization of all digital programs. Collects and analyzes digital/internet/website/mobile data and statistics which monitor and measure the performance of digital traffic and activities to support marketing and campaign optimization, lead generation for sales, product and engineering teams for continuous improvements to product and data driven decision making. Applies statistics-based market intelligence to business issues and formulates recommendations on optimizing the user experience and help drive business outcomes. Monitors and analyzes site performance and reviews tracking metrics to provide solutions to increase search engine ranking and creating marketing personas/audience profiles. Researches and evaluates new technology trends and identifies new optimization opportunities. Manage online advertising relationship and local social media agencies. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years relevant work experience. BA/BS degree or equivalent. Proficiency in web analytics applications, strong database skills and technical understanding of website architecture and mobile platforms.
