The UrbanTransformation Program is working to dramatically accelerate local governmentefforts around the world to simultaneously reducegreenhouse gasemissions,enhanceurban livability,increase resilience,andsupport anequitable energy transition. Our teampartnerswith city and other localgovernment staff and supports them byproviding technicalassistance, buildingcapacity, enabling learning, and developing tools and resources to meetspecifiAs a program marketing lead, you will be a strong team player who works asan integral part of the Urban Transformation team while coordinating andcollaborating with other RMI programs, RMI's broaderCommunicationsSolutions team, and external partners. You will work closely with the UrbanTransformation Program Marketing Manager to provide marketing andcommunications guidance and support to the team's subject matter experts andhelp execute strategic marketing, communications, and engagement effortsto inform and influence key stakeholders and advance program aims.RMI communications plans utilize diverse channels and media. To succeed inthis role, you will enjoy executing programcommunications strategies andtactics, both individually and by effectively engaging in-house functionalexperts in editorial, design, traditional and digital media, and webforthe benefit of all Urban Transformation Program initiatives. You will alsoexhibit curiosity toward the program's focus areas, be proficient intailoring communications for different audiences, excel at coordinating andworking with partners and other outsideresources.You willreport to the Marketing Managerfor theUrban Transformation Program.Your Key Roles and Responsibilities:Assist with the development of communications plans and strategies for theUrban Transformation Program.Support the execution of communications to both internal and externalstakeholders across multiple channels.Support the development of marketing and communications content, assets,and campaigns, including collateral, presentations, videos,reports, blogs, conceptnotes, grant proposals, web content, andsocial media pManage communication projects from inception to completion, including allinternal processes and working with in-house communicationsresources(i.e., editorial, design, web, traditional and socialmedia) and third-party agencies toensure projects are completed on time andin line with requirements.Maintain a program editorial calendar to ensure all program communicationactivities are coordinated, including internal and external publications,speaking engagements, program events, and digital and social mediacampaigns.Coordinate communications efforts with other RMI programs and externalpartners. This includes helping to seek out,develop, and managestrategiccommunications partnerships with like-minded NGOs, influencers, or othergroupIdentifyand researchtarget audiences and help guide messaging to engage thosespecific groups.Develop, manage, and generate content for an Urban Transformation ProgramTwitter channel.Proactively identify and leverage news-making moments, milestones,outcomes,and impacts to drive awareness and interest in the UrbanTransformation Program among target audiences, influencers,donors,stakeholders, and decision makers.Assist with engaging journalists, bloggers, social media influencers,and new media (e.g., podcasters) to secure media placements.Help directand guideRMI technical experts into the right
