CALIBRATION TECHNICIAN I - FCX/PCI - BOULDER, CO Location: Boulder, CO, CO, US, 80301 Company:9290-FCX Performance, Inc Join the Pharmaceutical Calibrations and Instrumentation (PCI)team! We are seeking a Calibration Technician that can perform calibrationsonsite at our client pharmaceutical facilities in Boulder, CO and thesurrounding Denver metro areas. This position will focus on PMs, calibrations and repairs on a varietyof instruments. Examples include process equipment such as pressure andtemperature devices, level, flow, facility and utility instruments.Computer based calibration tracking program (CMMS) experience is desiredand Maximo specifically would be a plus. Training is part of our onboardingexperience so experience with all of the equipment listed is not required. The Calibration Technician I reports directly to the Team Leader,Manager, or Director depending on the organizational structure. This is afull time, hourly position. Twenty five to Fifty percent travel may berequired based on project and client needs. Expectations: Calibration Technicians complete instrumentation calibrations,qualifications, and PMs with accurate and timely documentation, followingPCI and/or client specific policies and procedures. They are expected totake a proactive role in supporting the Team and in providing client supportand are expected to build a high level of trust with internal and clientpersonnel. This trust is developed through consistently upholding PCI Valuesand demonstrating Honesty, Integrity, Pride, Accountability,Teamwork, and Commitment. Responsibilities/Assignments: Calibration Technician I Completes calibrations and qualifications in a safe, timely, andaccurate manner, following PCI and client specific policies and proposals. Responsible for proper handling and maintenance of PCI and clientequipment, including testing and standards equipment. Identifies project supply and equipment needs and conveys to the appropriateresource to ensure availability. Works to understand client needs and requirements through effectivecommunication and develops client relationships through excellent customerservice. Ensures client requests are conveyed to the appropriate PCImanagement resource and met in accordance with management direction. On average, 90 - 95% of work time will be utilized completing calibrationand maintenance events. Timesheets and expense reports are completed weekly with accurate labor andexpense codes. Maintains a neat and professional PCI work area and projects a professionalimage at all times. Always considers safety when executing tasks and projects. Ensures that PCIwork areas are safe, neatly organized and professional on-site and in anoffice environment. Is attune to potential new opportunities for PCI when at a client site orinteracting with a client and relays this lead back to Leader/Manager. Skills Required: Calibration Technician I Basic understanding of Traceability, Substitution of Standards, andTest Accuracy and Uncertainty Ratios. Skilled with pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical instrumentation; aswell as manual and computer-based process control loops and systems;understands and applies basic concepts of calibration and requirementsincluding accuracy testing. Basic understanding and application of instrument, equipment, and loopcalibrations of various parameters in manufacturing, utilities, andlaboratory environments.
