JPMorgan Chase Specialist - Data Optimization and Governance Group in Boston, Massachusetts


Candidates should have 1 or more years of experience in a Fund Accounting or Fund Administration (Financial Reporting, Compliance, Tax, and/or Treasury) environment. Experience with FIS InvestOne accounting system is required.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Facilitate straight through processing using internal and vendor technology

  • Work with internal teams to track and resolve recurring data issues

  • Document business requirements documents to implement technology solutions

  • Document test plans and execute testing for technology implementations

  • Assist in developing project plans and tracking steps to completion

  • Work with downstream teams to address system and reporting needs

  • Assist in developing procedures and implementing system enhancements to achieve department's efficiency goals

  • Become subject matter expert on data flows between vendors/internal systems/downstream reporting

  • Execute tasks in accordance with Standard Operation Procedures and escalate any deviations to supervisors

  • Evaluate manual processes, suggest automation and documentation of procedures

Key Skills and Knowledge

  • A self starter who can work on their own initiative

  • Requires problem solving skill set and have a naturally inquisitive mind

  • Strong technical skills with the core Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access) & external market vendor application (Bloomberg, FTS etc).

  • Knowledge of FIS InvestOne accounting system is required

  • Knowledge of JPM Accounting applications (WINS, Newton) is desirable

  • Knowledge of RPA technology (Xceptor, Alteryx, etc.) is desirable

  • Skill to partner with internal teams and external clients to ensure resolution of all open issues

  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) are essential
