AECOM Senior Pipeline Design and Condition Assessment Specialist in Boston, Massachusetts

AECOM’s Water Business Line is seeking a creative, highly talented Senior Pipeline Design and Condition Assessment Specialist for Water Infrastructure projects in Chelmsford, MA or Rocky Hill, CT offices.
The appropriate qualified applicant will have a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in water pipeline design and condition assessment as a Professional Engineer (PE)
The Design Leader will be able to demonstrate an established career in municipal infrastructure market specializing in trenchless design, large diameter (24” diameter and greater) pipeline experience, steel and concrete pipeline condition assessment and rehabilitation , evaluation, and design (new and rehabilitation) of wastewater collection and conveyance; water distribution; stormwater conveyance; and climate resiliency related work.

Much of the work will be conducted in New England but opportunities are expected to extend Nationally as well as Internationally through Federal programs.
Responsibilities may include but not limited to:
Manages portfolio of clients with multiple projects.
Responsible for delivering revenues assigned from specific clients as a result of repeat business caused by flawless execution of projects.
Consistently delivers profit margins planned.
Consistently completes project without write-downs or multiplier erosion.
Typically manages projects involving RTF (Risk Triggering Factors).
Manages more complex clients and projects.
Has decision-making authority and directs other Project Managers in recognizing risk and uncertainty with plans to mitigate and eliminate such.
Directs staff to operate and minimize exposure to claims.
Supervises and directs Project Managers with multiple projects or program of projects.
Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental engineering or related engineering degree
6+ years of relevant project experience in water pipeline design and condition assessment
Professional Engineer (PE) license
Master’s Degree in Engineering
Trenchless design experience
Large diameter (24” diameter and greater) pipeline experience
Steel and concrete pipeline condition assessment and rehabilitation experience
10+ years of experience in the design and construction of water and wastewater infrastructures
Licensed PE in the state of MA or CT
Must also have the ability to manage a project scope within an assigned budget
Must be a highly motivated self-starter with solid writing and verbal communication skills
Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship is required
