In this position, the right candidate will support the Supply Chain as well as Vendor relationships. This individual will collaborate frequently with the Category Manager for their business to track shipments and manage inventory for fulfillment. The candidate will also collaborate with the PED Warehouse, IT team and Sales teams to facilitate continuous process improvement within PED’s Supply Chain.
The essential duties include:
Work with assigned partner vendors to improve reliability, lead time, data exchange, and inventory management.
Assist in solving vendor related problems
Enter data into databases or other computerized systems to maintain up-to-date supplier and vendor information; to track the status or orders and deliveries
Develop and recommend specific courses of action based on analysis of special requests for management or internally generated opportunities.
Develop the supply chain with partnered vendors to achieve target business results that create and maintain a competitive advantage for the Company.
Assist in design, development, and implementation of data gathering and analysis tools, processes, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and documentation.
Recommend procedural changes to improve efficiency of Supply Chain operations.
Oversee a significant Supply Chain process or function and manage all aspects of executing said process or function.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.).
Ability to effectively utilize FEI's inventory and logistics system (Trilogie)
Ability to create and maintain business SOPs
Basic understanding of warehouse fulfillment processes
Logistics knowledge preferred
Data Analytic experience a plus
