Position

The Senior Director, Finance will serve as a key leader of the CFO’s team in supporting the continued growth of the Company through enhancing and increasing the functional capabilities of the finance department.

She/he will manage key financial functions including FP&A, internal, investor, and lender financial reporting, and treasury. Impact is growing rapidly through acquisition and the new Senior Director will have a key role in merger integration at the finance, HR and IT levels. The Senior Director, Finance will collaborate with the IT and HR functions to provide effective support for acquisitions.

The Senior Director, Finance will have the presence, personality and skills to establish credibility and build positive professional relationships, and capitalize on the existing relationships within the Company, with CI Capital, and with other constituents. Direct exposure to the Board, CEO, and other members of senior management.

The Senior Director, Finance will:

  • Under the guidance of the CFO, direct and implement financial systems, policies and procedures related to Impact’s operations, fiscal function and performance;

  • Manage all reporting & FP&A activities.

  • Review and direct all financial planning, policies, and procedures to ensure constant integration of these elements into the overall vision;

  • Exercise prudent management of financial staff; assisting in hiring, training, and promoting as necessary;

  • Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports, and financial trends and provide credible projections to the CFO, CEO, and CI Capital;

  • Establish and maintain the confidence of the senior management team, CI Capital and all relevant financial services providers;

  • Assist in the development and implementation of short term and long term business and operating strategies;

  • Coordinate the development of and manage the corporate budget and the financial portion of the business plan;

  • Participate as required in the M&A process and integrate all acquisitions;

  • Assist in developing and maintaining commercial banking, audit, and other financial services and consulting relationships that are relevant to the prudent operation of the business;

  • Provide education and training for company managers/executives on financial issues;

  • Identify needed areas of change to prepare for continued corporate growth;

  • Work to ensure the company’s financial position is maintained in a manner which makes the company an attractive business partner

  • A CPA is preferred and an MBA, while not required, is a plus;

  • Minimum of 7 years including a solid foundation of technical expertise in finance, accounting, and audit;

  • Strong experience in the sales and marketing or CPG industries is preferred, but consideration will be made for experience in similar/comparable industries;

  • Meaningful experience with a CRM system;

  • Experience managing banking and investor relationships and overseeing financial reporting to those constituents;

  • Experience with all aspects of Mergers & Acquisitions, specifically the integration of significant acquisitions;

  • Prior experience in a private equity environment, including the sale of a company, is a big plus;

  • Ability to form and maintain effective working relationships with peers and superiors and interested financial parties;

  • Team player who can work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and be comfortable in a smaller corporate environment;

  • Excellent functional ability with principal financial and business systems; e.g.; Excel, Access, inventory management, customer service and other key software systems
