Citigroup Architecture Senior Analyst (C12) in Bogotá, Colombia


EA is focused primarily on the following responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with Portfolio Management to provide a high-level, all-inclusive vision of enterprise solutions and development initiatives Defining key technical initiatives that support Budgets;

  • Helping the delivery teams to adhere for non-strategic solutions;

  • Participating in the strategy for designing, building and maintaining the scalable architectural design;

  • Understanding and communicating Strategic Technologies, and other key business drivers for architecture, to System Architects and nontechnical stakeholders;

  • Driving architectural initiatives in the Portfolio and participating in epic analysis where applicable;

  • Influencing common modeling, design, and coding best practices;

  • Promoting CICD Pipeline and DevOps capabilities;

  • Collecting, generating, analyzing, and engaging innovative ideas and technologies to use across the business;

  • Facilitating the reuse of code, components, and proven patterns;

  • Synchronizing the following disciplines across Solutions whenever applicable: System, data security and quality Production infrastructure Solution user experience Scalability, performance, and other Nonfunctional Requirements (NFRs)

  • Receiving feedback on current enterprise-wide initiatives;

  • Building and participating in architecture and design Communities of Practice/Learning;

  • Attending demos whenever critical redesign or foundation work is in progress.


  • 5+ years of experience in Enterprise and/or Solution Architecture;

  • Experience designing solution architecture using Microservices Architecture, API, RestFul, Spring, AngulaJS, NodeJS, Kafka, Cloud-ready, OAuth, etc.;

  • Strong experience in programing languages like Java, .NET, and Python;

  • Strong experience in DevOps Toolset like Jira, SonarQube, Jenkins, TeamCity, or any CI, Clean Code, Git, Docker, Ansible or Chef, Maven, etc.

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication;

  • Ability to develop working relationships and meeting tight deadlines;

  • Desirable: Knowledge of Machine Learning and classical statistical models will be considered a plus.

  • Desirable: Past experience or knowledge in Agile Methodologies like Scrum or Kanban and AWS/GCP/Azure will be considered a plus;

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent;

  • Fluent English;
