job summary:

An Industrial Electrician is needed for a direct hire position in Blytheville, AR for a large Industrial company. The Industrial Electrician will be part of a team responsible for planning, installation, programming, testing and troubleshooting of electrical machinery and automation systems. This position works 4-day on 4-day off, rotating 12-hour shifts with call-in responsibilities. Relocation assistance for qualified candidates.

responsibilities:

  • The selected candidate will be part of a team responsible for planning, installation, programming, testing and troubleshooting of electrical machinery and automation systems.

  • The person in this role must diagnose process and equipment problems and take appropriate measures to resolve issues.

  • Applicants must have a thorough understanding of electrical theory, process instrumentation and control systems. As part of the maintenance team, this person will work with the operation team to improve Safety, Quality, Costs and Productivity throughout the facility.

  • The shift electrician will work 4-day on 4-day off, rotating 12-hour shifts with call-in responsibilities. This position requires work at heights and in hot and cold environments.

qualifications:

  • 3+ years related industrial maintenance and automation experience in a manufacturing facility;electrical training or equivalent military experience will be considered

  • Experience performing routine and corrective maintenance on motors, controllers and process measuring devices.

  • Ability to read electrical schematics

  • Ability to trouble-shoot electrical systems and equipment

  • Proficient in the use of electrical test equipment

  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • PLC programming experience

  • HMI programming experience

  • Hydraulic and pneumatic experience

  • Solid knowledge of electrical principles

  • Practical understanding of drives and motors
