Cigna ETL/SSIS Developer Analyst in Bloomfield, Connecticut


This position is responsible for the reporting of data from business systems. This position may be involved in day to day work as it relates to creating and executing queries against business systems and developing reports and dashboards using said data.

What you’ll do:

Under general direction, focuses on the use of information and analytics to improve health and optimize consumer and provider focused business processes. Responsible for the extraction and analysis of health care information. Evaluates, writes, and presents reports to support business operations for internal and external customers in an effort to control medical cost and improve the quality of services provided to members and providers. Responsible for research using multiple sources of data, data sourcing, data staging, automation and analyzing algorithms.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent, or a minimum of 4 years of reporting, or programming experience – SQL, Teradata or Python experience required

  • Experience automating and scheduling processes with SSIS a plus

  • Experience with web scraping a plus

  • Experience with Microsoft SSMS, Toad DataPoint and/or Visual Studio a plus

  • Experience with developing Looker based models a plus

  • Healthcare background a plus
