Cigna Automation Business Analyst (Sr Advisor) in Bloomfield, Connecticut
Service Operations Automation Center of Excellence [SOA CoE] is responsible to identify, prioritize, assess and evaluate of automation opportunities across customer, client and provider to meet the organizational goal. This role will be responsible for conducting analysis to represent current state of the business and determine the potential of leveraging Robotics Process, Robotics desktop automation, Cognitive capabilities by doing due diligence with with various application groups and our technology counterparts – Office of Intelligence Automation[OIA]. This role will be required to collaborate with product, technology, and business partners’ to challenge as a champion and with all the supporting data points to gains the required support from rest of the organization. Success of automation will be measured by operational efficiencies through elimination of unnecessary manual or high-risk work, and increased return on investment, increase in Operational savings and reducing total cost of care.
The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in ongoing and future RPA and RDA based programs and applications for business processes working under the guidance and direction of Automation Process, Rule champion.
Gain an understanding of our standards, workflows, and technologies to suggest approaches to optimize automation of each possible operational process.
Craft functional design specifications for attended and unattended automation projects and document business requirements from project stakeholders, business managers, and end users.
Identify and document test data, test cases and test success/failure criteria for supported automations.
Analyze processes, identify automation opportunities, define RPA value proposition.
Gather the required information to complete a feasibility analysis.
Conduct RPA High Level Assessments and develop RPA solution proposal focusing on scalability and extensibility.
Work with the Delivery Managers and coordinate project related artifacts for Solution Delivery.
Assist with developing detailed “As Is” Process Description - PDD (Process Design Document), assist with DFDs, Rules and BRDs for process automation.
Participate in setting definition of test conditions and scenarios that contribute in developing accurate and complete test plans.
Document Robotics, Application development, Maintenance and Changes based on Rules and Data.
Assist and collaborate with test procedures and scenarios for UAT phases.
Maintain a strict adherence to departmental standards related to development documentation, artifacts and requirements.
BA/BS degree in the related field.
5 years’ experience creating and completing process documentation, workflow, process maps, DFDs.
Understanding of healthcare insurance organization.
RPA associate certification is desirable.
Strong and demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Genuine desire to learn
