JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position: Manufacturing Engineer - 1st shift Location: Black River Falls, WI Job Id: 167 # of Openings: 1 Pay Range: $60,000 to $80,000 annually Primary Responsibilities Under the direction of the Engineering Manager, the Manufacturing Engineer will support the Pre-Production Process and take initiative to achieve realization of estimated costs; meet all customer requirements and specifications; on-time delivery of materials and information; improved productivity and workflow; reduction in errors and rework costs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare estimates for customer products and services in accordance with company methods and procedures. Process new customer orders and track their progress through all phases of the manufacturing process. Compare actual costs with estimates, analyze variations, and report findings with recommendations as required. Utilize CAD/CAM to generate and interpret shop floor drawings. (ACAD Mechanical or ACAD Inventor) Calculate dimensions and allowances in accordance with established drafting practices and alter drawings to suit engineering changes, D&S processes and to meet customer specifications. Work with production staff and cross-functional teams to plan, implement, lead and/or execute actions that result in process and system improvements in order to meet realization of estimated costs and address quality concerns. Analyze problems, diagnose probable causes, provide troubleshooting solutions, and implement cost-effective solutions in order to improve processes, quality and efficiencies.
