Find your future with us.Insitu has an immediate need for a Senior Business Development Specialist responsible for Insitu's Special Operations Command (SOCOM) market segment. Remote possible for the right candidate. Responsibilities include the development and implementation of a SOCOM and Navy Special Warfare campaign and capture strategy. This position will function as the liaison between Insitu/Boeing senior management and the special operations warfighter community on all major matters pertaining to meeting customer needs for Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (SUAS).Qualified Candidates will have a combination of the following:Special Operations Command experience / considered an expert in the special operations forces communityDoD/federal business acquisition and capture experience to include bids and proposal processingOperational, acquisition and / or unmanned experienceNavy Special Warfare experienceProblem solving abilities to develop solutions for complex challenges which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation ensuring solutions are consistent with organization objectivesAbility to travel up to 25-50% (dependent upon work location).Education and Experience Desired:15 years of DoD experience w/ bachelor's degree or equivalentBusiness/financial acumen understanding and ability to utilize economic, financial, and industrial data to accurately diagnose business strengths and weaknesses, identifying key issues, and developing strategies and plans.Ability to clearly convey information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message.Customer focus with an understanding of interests, needs, culture, business context, political, economic and environmental influences and considers such factors in the completion of job tasks and responsibilities.Proven ability to generate innovative solutions in work situations; demonstrated different and novel ways to deal with work problems and opportunities.Legislative and regulatory process knowledgeUnderstanding of the formulation of multifaceted, strategic marketing or positioning campaignsAbility to Obtains information and identify key issues and relationships relevant to achieving a long-range goal or visionApply today!EEO Statement All information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Equal Employment Opportunity: Insitu’s policy on equal employment opportunity prohibits discrimination based on race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, physical or mental disability, or veteran status.
